Nordic Minimal
Snow, stone and quiet confidence.
A calm Scandinavian take on the trip: near-monochrome snow and stone, light grotesk type with mono metadata, and hand-drawn contour lines instead of decoration. Photography stays black and white until the destination is chosen, so colour is earned. Everything is list-led and revealed progressively, which makes the organiser view feel composed rather than busy.
- iQuiet by default. Hairlines, tone and space do the work; nothing shouts unless it needs you.
- iiOne accent. Glacier blue means “this needs you”. It never decorates.
- iiiColour is earned. Photographs stay black and white until the destination is chosen.
- ivWords first. Every status has a shape and a word, never colour alone.
Colour
Snow, stone and charcoal, with a single glacier accent. Every text pairing meets WCAG AA.

Typography
Hanken Grotesk for words and big figures, in light weights. DM Mono only for small metadata: dates, labels, counts.
Iconography
Drawn on a 24px grid with a 1.25px line. Icons support words, never replace them.

Photography
Monochrome by default, softened on detail pages, and full colour only for the destination the group chooses.

Captions are set in mono, credits always kept. All photographs CC0 via Wikimedia Commons.
Inputs
Labels above, hints below, errors in words with a glyph. Proper input types for phones.
Only organisers see this. Used for flight bookings.
Your maximum can’t be lower than your stretch budget (£1,400).
A real form
The kit form changes with your answers: snowboarders see stance and no poles; unsure riders see nothing irrelevant.
Confirmations
Checklist items record what you confirm. They never pretend to verify it.
Status
Shape first, then a word. The accent is reserved for things that need you.
